Sky Sports News presenter Charlotte Jackson on beauty secrets

Which beauty products do you swear by?

For years I’ve been putting a vitamin C serum by Dr Weber Skincare on my face day and night. I find if I stop using it, my skin gets a bit lacklustre. I’ve always used Avon Anew Clinical Dual Eye System, which is a gel and a cream, and I’m a fan of RevitaLash, a conditioner you put along your lash line to make your eyelashes longer and thicker.

What do you always have in your make-up bag?

Lancôme Hydra Zen BB Cream, a tinted moisturiser with SPF 50. It’s sheer, so it’s really good for summer and makes your skin glow. I also use bareMinerals Well-Rested Face & Eye Brightener under my make-up – it’s a highlighter and minimises dark circles.

What’s your best beauty tip?

Wear an SPF moisturiser or foundation. A lot of people only use sunblock on holiday, but you get UVA rays in Britain, too.

What are your favourite fragrances?

The original Chanel Chance, as well as the Eau Tendre and Eau Fraiche. For a night out, I’m a Christian Dior addict.

How do you pamper yourself?

I have a lot of facials. I really like HydraFacials, which remove dead cells, improve fine lines and get rid of my big pores. I’m also a fan of Dermalux, which is a non-invasive light therapy.

Do you diet?

I believe in everything in moderation. Having said that, before my wedding I did the 5:2 diet and that really worked for me.

How do you keep fit?

As a new mum, it’s hard finding time to exercise [Charlotte has sons Finley, two, and 10-month-old Indie with her husband, Wales football manager Chris Coleman]. If Chris is home, I’ll go for a run and soon I’ll start doing TRX training – a system of suspension ropes and pulleys you use with your own body weight.

Would you ever consider cosmetic surgery?

I would never say never, but I haven’t thought about it. You see some famous people who look incredible, but others you look at and think, “Oh my God.” I’ve got stepdaughters – the youngest is 18 this year – and I look at all the work the Kardashians have had done, even the young ones, and think it sets a bad example.

Charlotte is due back on Sky Sports News this autumn following maternity leave.
